Jeslynn Love, LMHP, NCC

Jeslynn Love is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP). She received her master's degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Nebraska at Kearney.  Jeslynn has a passion for people to create a space to feel seen and heard. She has a background in early childhood education/development, trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, children, adolescents, college age students, and families. 

Jeslynn has a variety of different trainings in treating people from all areas of life. She has completed trainings in the following:  Nuerosequential Model of Therapy (NMT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Family Systems work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Circle of Security, Suicide Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eating Disorders, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).  Jeslynn will work closely with early childhood networks in the Kearney community.

Jeslynn believes in treating others from a holistic approach and incorporating wellness into treatment. She believes that we are often doing the best we know how with what we have been taught. It's important to her to create a space and therapeutic relationship with clients and caregivers to grow, learn and develop in a place without judgement.

In addition to her work as a therapist, Jeslynn offers trainings in early childhood development. 

Outside of the office Jeslynn enjoys being with her family, running, reading, and being outside. You can often find Jeslynn at a park, the pool, or the lake. Her and her family are often at a sporting event, football, baseball, or basketball. Big husker fans as well as all teams in Minnesota!
