Taylor is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Therapist (PLMHP) who works primarily with women, young adults, couples, and those interested in faith-based therapy. She earned Master's Degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Pastoral Counseling, both from Liberty University.
Taylor provides compassionate hope to those facing issues related to anxiety, depression, codependency, trauma, perfectionism, motherhood burnout, stress, sexual and emotional abuse, self-esteem, body shame, relationship conflict, grief and loss, pregnancy, religious trauma, postpartum depression and anxiety, PMDD, faith crisis, transition into adulthood, and more. She believes in the power of "with-ness", where clients can take steps to heal in the presence of a caring, non-judgmental and empathetic professional. Taylor genuinely cares for her clients and is deeply invested in their growth and well-being. In this space, clients develop safe attachments, healthy boundaries, self-compassion, and practical tools for healing trauma and relationships.
Taylor's therapy approach is a mix of somatic therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, trauma-informed therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, with a strength-based focus. Her clinical work focuses on the whole of who individuals are psychologically, emotionally, biologically, and spiritually.
Faith-Based Therapy: For those who find their Christian faith to be a helpful resource, Taylor provides biblically-integrated psychotherapy. Taylor is passionate about walking with others in their pain as they better understand their story in light of God's redemptive story. She is committed to providing professional, discerning counsel that is rooted in the truth of God's Word for those who desire this integration in their unique therapy space.
Outside of her passion for people, Taylor adores her two children and family, her blue heeler Bandit, and enjoys exercise, sports, reading, meaningful friendships, cooking, Husker volleyball, and spending time outdoors.
