Miguel Martinez, PLMHP, received his Master of Science in Education (MS.Ed.) in May of 2022. He completed the UNK Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and conducted his internship at MECC. After graduating, Miguel began his counseling journey at Lincoln Heights Elementary School in Scottsbluff, NE. Throughout the past two years he has honed his clinical skills that he began developing while at MECC. He has a passion for supporting kids emotionally, developing healthy coping skills, and identifying and creating social support systems. Building strong connections with children, adolescents, and teens has been a strength that has aided him in his clinical career.
Miguel is trained in COSP and has attended numerous trainings and workshops to develop his skills in treating anxiety, depression, sleep issues, suicidal thoughts, and helping his clients create meaningful changes in their lives.

Outside of the office, Miguel enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and going to the gym.
