Katie Boston joined MECC as a clinical intern in May of 2024.  She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2010.  She is in the process of completing her master's degree in social work and will graduate in December of 2024.  Katie has almost 15 years of experience working with individuals and families in a nursing home/hospital setting.  Katie enjoys supporting individuals and families as they navigate various issues such as grief/loss, depression, anxiety, and transitional periods in their lives.  Katie is passionate about helping individuals identify inner strengths and building upon those strengths to benefit themselves and those around them.  Outside of MECC, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and dog.
